Shop local products online!
CatskillMercantile.com is an online shopping hub featuring products inspired by the Catskill and Adirondack regions of New York. They travel throughout New York and surrounding areas to identify premiere small to midsize artisans as well as up and coming makers.
“As a local Artist, it has always been my dream to open an online shopping hub that celebrates the diversity and character of this very special pocket of the country. Now more than ever with weekend events, attractions, and activities there can be limited time to shop. An increasing number of visitors are looking to the web for memorable gifts and keepsakes that can be ordered online and delivered directly to their home,” says founder, Phil Eberlein.
CatskillMercantile.com currently features a wide range of items and expects to introduce many more new products in the coming months. Each item is well suited for the home, gift giving, or as a memorable souvenir from a visit to the area. In addition to online shopping at CatskillMercantile.com, a series of 2017 ‘Pop Up Shops’ throughout the region will be announced shortly.
The stacked stone lamps, a favorite of mine, are handmade by Eberlein. Specializing in lighting, Eberlein used local river rock to design unique pieces. The lamps and bowls featured are individually designed pieces. Each piece is a unique piece of art.
“Working with stone is an incredibly rewarding experience as an Artist. Based on the beautiful imperfection of the materials, design inspiration at any particular time can result in a variety of looks and aesthetics for each piece,” says Eberlein.

Home & Garden Show in Goshen
Stop by & visit my booth at The Goshen Chamber of Commerce Home & Garden Show on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Palacio Conference Center, 1700 Rt. 17M, Goshen, NY. This venue is the attached catering hall to the Hacienda. A nice added touch to dine and visit the show. I know where I’ll be after setting up and breaking down my booth!
As we start shaking off the remains of the winter, I am inspired to make changes in my own home and have already started the process. This event will showcase companies involved in building or remodeling of homes or products and services used by the homeowner. This event is FREE and open to the public.
For additional information, please contact Terry Smallin at the Goshen Chamber office at (845) 294-7741 or e-mail at info@goshennychamber.com.
